Get a FREE t-shirt at the Big West Shootout on 2/23/10
The third annual Big West Shootout returns the Pavilion on Tuesday, Febraury 23 at 6pm. Every participant will receive a FREE t-shirt just for signing up. If you are a current Big West student (which all of you Aggie Pack students are) and can shoot a basketball, sign up register online at www.bigwest.org. There will be a men’s, womens’, and co-ed division. The coed champions at each school will move on to compete against the champions from the other Big West schools for the $5,000 grand prize at the Big West Basketball Tournament in March in Anaheim, California. Airfare and hotel for the UC Davis co-ed champions will be provided. It’s the Big West Basketball Tournament Shootout!

ALOHA! Football to take on Hawai'i in 2011 in Honolulu
UC Davis will play its first-ever football game against the University of Hawai'i when the Aggies visit the Warriors for a nonconference matchup at Aloha Stadium in 2011, it was announced by both schools on Wednesday.
The game is scheduled for Sept. 24, 2011 and will be played at the 50,000-seat stadium in Honolulu. Hawai'i, member of the Western Athletic Conference, was 6-7 this past season and 7-7 in 2008. It enjoyed a memorable campaign in 2007, finishing the regular season undefeated (12-0) before advancing to play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. | |
